Their philosophy revolves around caring for guests, employees, and neighborhoods with equal intention and dedication. Heritage Hotels & Resorts strives to provide every guest with an immersive experience that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of New Mexico while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort.
The company offers a nurturing and inclusive workplace for those who value quality and community. Employees are encouraged to contribute their unique skills and take pride in creating welcoming environments. Joining the Heritage family means being a part of an organization that not only values professional excellence but also fosters a sense of belonging and purpose.
We are seeking a dependable Banquet Houseperson to join our team and play a crucial role in the success of our events. This position is essential in ensuring that banquet spaces are properly set up, maintained, and restored with efficiency, safety, and professionalism. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will work behind the scenes to lay the foundation for memorable guest experiences by meticulously preparing event spaces according to detailed requirements and diagrams, moving furniture and equipment with care, and performing thorough post-event cleanups. Your role supports banquet service teams and directly contributes to the seamless execution of events.
In this role, attention to detail and commitment to quality are paramount. The Banquet Houseperson must maintain clean, organized storage and service areas and promptly report any safety hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members. The role also involves assisting guests and resolving any concerns promptly and professionally, thereby enhancing overall guest satisfaction. This position requires a strong work ethic, a team-oriented attitude, and flexibility in working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Heritage Hotels & Resorts offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including a 25% match for 401k contributions. Employees also receive generous discounts across Heritage's hotels, restaurants, spa, and retail outlets. Shift schedules include complimentary meals and free parking. The company supports ongoing professional development and encourages employees to grow their skills and careers by working across multiple hotel locations. This opportunity allows team members to build a full-time schedule and enjoy full-time benefits while being part of a supportive, people-first culture rooted in New Mexico pride and community.
