The role of Event Services Attendant (referred to as Experto en servicio de asistencia para eventos) at Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center is pivotal in ensuring the flawless execution of all events hosted at the venue. You will be an integral team member whose primary responsibility is to assist with event setup, breakdown, and ongoing service to guarantee that every guest enjoys an unparalleled experience. The position is full-time and classified as non-management, with an hourly pay rate of $22.50, offering a stable income paired with excellent career development opportunities. Event Services Attendants go beyond simply arranging tables and chairs; they create a unique and memorable atmosphere by proactively providing a variety of supportive services. These include assembling and disassembling event materials, transporting supplies, stocking bars and action stations, and carrying out additional duties to maintain smooth event flow. The position demands physical stamina as attendants are frequently on their feet, walking, sitting, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, and positioning objects that weigh up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance. Attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and adherence to company policies are essential to delivering exceptional guest service.
Success in this role is also defined by maintaining a safe workplace, upholding uniform and professional appearance standards, and clear, courteous communication.
