Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Less than 1 year related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to move over uneven or slippery surfaces
  • Ability to bend, twist, pull, and stoop during work shift
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information and determine proper setup
  • Set up banquet area/room ensuring cleanliness and proper layout
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
  • Inspect storage areas for organization and adhere to First In First Out (FIFO) policy
  • Communicate with guests and other employees to ensure guest needs are met
  • Assist management in staff hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating
  • Direct final breakdown and cleanup of function rooms
