The Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is currently seeking a Banquet House Attendant, a vital team member responsible for ensuring the flawless execution of banquet events in this luxurious setting. This full-time role requires an individual with experience and a passion for delivering impeccable banquet setups, maintenance, and breakdowns who thrives in fast-paced environments and values attention to detail. The Banquet House Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, organizing and preparing event spaces according to precise specifications, and contributing to the overall guest experience through efficient, reliable service. The position offers an hourly wage starting at $16.90 and comes with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee wellbeing and professional development.

Key responsibilities include setting up banquet tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props in accordance with banquet event orders; ensuring that all linens, china, silverware, glassware, and supplies are stocked and in excellent condition; maintaining function spaces meticulously following established maintenance programs; and safely retrieving and storing meeting materials and equipment from the hotel's receiving area. The successful candidate must be capable of lifting weights between 25 and 50 pounds regularly and must possess legal authorization to work in the United States. This role demands strong communication skills, proficiency in English, and the ability to follow detailed instructions carefully.

  • Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by banquet event orders
  • Stock linen, china, silver, and glassware and supplies for service ensuring they are in good condition
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function spaces according to maintenance programs and plans
  • Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely
  • Assist in ensuring all banquet areas are prepared promptly and efficiently for events
  • Communicate effectively with banquet coordinators and team members to address any setup issues
  • Follow health and safety standards during all stages of event setup and breakdown
