We are currently seeking a Regular Banquet House Attendant to join our Food and Beverage team at Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco. This union, non-management position is essential in supporting the preparation, maintenance, and breakdown of banquet event spaces, ensuring every detail meets the highest standards. The Banquet House Attendant plays a vital role in the seamless execution of events, contributing actively from the initial setup through to the final cleanup. Responsibilities include arranging tables, chairs, and banquet equipment as per event orders, managing inventory of linen, silverware, and glassware, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with the retrieval and safe storage of meeting materials.
This role demands a high level of physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to engage professionally with guests and team members alike. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift items up to 80 pounds. Flexibility in work schedule, including availability for all shifts, weekends, and holidays, is also essential.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in banquet or food and beverage service
- Ability to continuously stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs safely
- Flexible schedule with availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- At least 1 year previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment
- Experienced in communication and computer skills
- Service passion
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Possess legal work authorization in the United States
Job Duties
- Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order
- Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans
- Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely
