The Pfister Hotel is renowned for its gracious service, impeccable style, and its long-standing recognition as a AAA Four Diamond hotel for more than 50 consecutive years. As part of The Marcus Corporation, Marcus Hotels & Resorts, the Pfister Hotel benefits from a rich history of operational and service excellence with a portfolio of 15 unique U.S.-based hotels and resorts that pride themselves on their distinctive character and exceptional guest experiences.

The Pfister Hotel is currently seeking passionate and energetic individuals to join their team as part of an ongoing legacy of luxury and exceptional service. The role focuses on supporting the banquet operations by collaborating with culinary team members to prepare and execute high-volume food production for banquets, special events, and catered functions. This full-time, hourly position offers a competitive pay rate of $18.47 per hour and provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where attention to detail and consistency are paramount.

In this position, you will work closely with the Banquet Chefs and culinary teams to ensure that all menu items are prepared, cooked, and presented accurately according to standardized recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines. Utilizing production schedules, prep sheets, and banquet event orders, you will ensure that ingredients are prepared in the right quantities and quality to meet event demands. Maintaining high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and portioning will be essential to delivering an exceptional guest dining experience. Additionally, monitoring inventory levels, properly storing and labeling products, and communicating supply needs will be part of your daily responsibilities to promote efficient banquet operations and minimize waste.

This role requires strong time-management skills and the flexibility to work varying schedules based on banquet needs. Physical stamina is important since the role demands standing for extended periods during shifts. Understanding and adherence to food safety requirements are necessary to maintain compliance within a high-volume kitchen environment. The Pfister Hotel offers career growth opportunities, with options to transfer between properties under The Marcus Corporation, while maintaining service longevity.

Working at The Pfister Hotel means being part of a respected team that values people and their contributions. The company embraces a culture of 'People Pleasing People' striving daily to create extraordinary experiences for guests and associates alike. With benefits including competitive pay, early wage access, paid time off, discounted parking, 401(k) employer match, access to employee assistance programs, and health and benefit packages for full-time associates, this opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking both professional fulfillment and personal growth in the hospitality industry.
