The role of a Banquet Cook at Ridglea Country Club is an integral part of the culinary team, operating under the direction of the Executive Chef and Banquet Sous Chef. This position focuses on producing all food related to banquet events with precision and professionalism. The Banquet Cook is responsible for managing food production ensuring the highest quality preparation and presentation consistently. Additionally, this position involves accountability for food costs, overseeing daily production, minimizing waste, and adhering strictly to standard operating procedures in the banquet kitchen.

This role requires a detailed understanding of recipes, food preparation techniques, sanitation standards, and safety guidelines, all while maintaining a professional demeanor and collaborative spirit. The Banquet Cook must exhibit a strong work ethic, demonstrate leadership within the team, and communicate effectively with both kitchen management and colleagues. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1 year experience in a banquet or large-scale food production environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
