As a leading name in hotel management, HHM Hotels focuses on cultivating an environment where excellence, innovation, and guest satisfaction are paramount. Recognized for its commitment to quality and sustainability, the company integrates best practices with a passion for service, making it a preferred employer within the hospitality industry.

As a banquet cook at HHM Hotels, you will play a vital role in crafting delicious, high-quality food for banquet events and large gatherings. This full-time role offers competitive wages and a dynamic work environment where culinary professionals can grow and advance their careers. The banquet cook position requires meticulous attention to detail to follow recipes accurately and uphold the standards of excellence for which HHM Hotels is known. This role demands a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen space, with adherence to all health and safety regulations.

The banquet cook’s duties span preparing a broad range of menu items including appetizers, salads, cold dishes, baked goods, and cooked meats and vegetables. You will be responsible for food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, trimming, and portioning, all while ensuring the presentation meets the company’s high standards. The role also emphasizes sustainability practices under HHM’s EarthView program, making it more than just a cooking job but a contribution to environmentally responsible operations.

HHM Hotels provides a clear growth pathway for banquet cooks, with opportunities to advance to lead cook, sous chef, executive chef, and eventually to managerial roles such as Food and Beverage Director. This career progression is supported by a culture that values continuous learning, professional development, and internal promotion.

The work environment is active and requires physical stamina, including standing for long periods, walking, lifting heavy items, and working varied shifts including weekends and holidays. Team members at HHM Hotels thrive in a collaborative setting where everyone is encouraged to own their roles and contribute to a positive guest experience.

Working as a banquet cook at HHM Hotels means joining a company that truly believes in its values: People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It. These guiding principles underscore the company’s dedication to both its employees and guests, creating a rewarding and supportive workplace culture.
