Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of English and local language
  • Ability to communicate with guests and associates in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to handle conflict situations professionally
  • Must be well groomed and adhere to the hotel’s dress code
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift a minimum of 30 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a banquet or high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and presentation standards accurately

Job Duties

  • Prepare large quantities of food including chopping, butchering, and sauce making according to recipes and station checklists
  • Execute high-volume, timed plating for events and set up and maintain buffet stations
  • Learn all menu items produced in immediate area
  • Ensure food meets presentation and temperature standards, tasting, and testing items for quality
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper labeling, dating, and storage of leftovers
  • Safely operate kitchen machinery like mixers, fryers, broilers, and ovens
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
