The role of the Banquet Cook at Andretti Indoor Karting and Games is a part-time culinary position focused on preparing large quantities of food for diverse events, including banquets, weddings, conferences, and corporate gatherings. This role requires a culinary professional who thrives in a high-energy environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional food quality and presentation. The Banquet Cook will collaborate closely with event organizers and catering managers to plan menus tailored to the specific needs and dietary preferences of event guests. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • The desire and ability to be pleasant upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
  • Work varying days nights holidays and weekends
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular and continuing basis
  • Perform functions which require organization bending reaching turning lifting climbing and stocking up to 50lbs
  • Ability to communicate quickly and accurately
  • Ability to understand follow and maintain safety standards at all times

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in banquet or large-scale food preparation preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Menu planning collaborating with clients or event planners to create a menu that suits the occasion and meets dietary preferences or restrictions

  • Kitchen coordination managing a team of kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of meals
