Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- One year or more banquet serving work history preferred
- Experience in hotel environment desired
- Previous banquet service required
- Some level of management skills desired
- Refined verbal and written communication
- Ability to keep up with a fast paced environment
- Ability to carry tray to shoulder weighing up to 30 lbs without assistance
- Stand and/or walk entire shift
- Must be available nights and weekends
- U.S. work authorization required

Job Duties
- Introduce yourself to contact person of event and ensure requests are clear and executed by staff
- Follow BEO requirements
- Maintain proper uniform and appearance
- Set up banquet rooms including linen and china
- Follow health and safety practices
- Complete all prep work prior to event start
- Serve food and beverages ensuring consistency
- Respond promptly to guest requests
- Set up buffets as needed
- Maintain professional appearance and positive attitude
- Maintain open communication among staff
- Maintain work areas and complete side duties
- Keep tally of consumed items and AV equipment used
- Ring out BEO and provide copy to sales/catering
- Respect coworkers and managers
- Remove linen, silverware, china and trays after event completion
