Job Description

Geronimo Hospitality Group is a renowned collection of award-winning boutique hotels, restaurants, and clubs that prides itself on defying the status quo to create unique and unforgettable destinations. The company believes in setting the standard rather than just raising it, fostering a work culture that values innovation, boundary-pushing, and hard work. With a team of cool, passionate individuals, Geronimo Hospitality Group consistently strives to provide exceptional service and memorable experiences for its guests. The group’s portfolio includes some of the most distinguished venues, and their commitment to excellence has earned them a strong reputation in the hospitality industry.

One of the standout properties under Geronimo Hospitality Group is the Beloit Club, which is recognized as one of the premier country club lifestyles in Wisconsin. The Beloit Club offers its members an award-winning 18-hole golf course, family-friendly pool areas, and a stunning 24,000 square foot clubhouse facility. Additionally, members and guests enjoy exceptional dining experiences available throughout the club’s venues. This dynamic environment offers a unique blend of leisure, luxury, and community, making the club a sought-after destination.

Geronimo Hospitality Group is currently looking to hire a Part-time Banquet Captain to join the team at the Beloit Club. This role is integral in ensuring that guests receive outstanding food service and hospitality, reflecting the company’s dedication to excellence. As a Banquet Captain, the successful candidate will act as the authority and point of contact in the absence of the Banquet Manager, guiding staff and overseeing event execution with professionalism and efficiency. This position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, guest-focused environments and want to be part of a company that values their input and growth.

The Banquet Captain’s responsibilities include managing the setup and execution of banquet events, ensuring compliance with BEO (Banquet Event Order) requirements, maintaining uniform standards, and delivering consistent, high-quality service throughout the event. You will work closely with event organizers to confirm all details and requests are clearly understood and implemented by the team. Your role also involves maintaining clear communication among staff members to ensure a seamless and successful event experience. Attention to detail is paramount, from preparing banquet rooms with proper linen and china to overseeing food and beverage service and promptly addressing guest requests.

Geronimo Hospitality Group offers a competitive pay rate of $12.00 per hour for this part-time position. The company also provides numerous benefits to support its team members, including employee discounts, paid time off, training and development opportunities, 401K retirement plans, medical benefits, 24/7 online care, and pet insurance. These perks highlight the company's commitment to recognizing talent and rewarding hard work, fostering a positive and supportive workplace environment. The Banquet Captain role is perfect for motivated individuals with some banquet service experience looking to grow their career within a vibrant and forward-thinking hospitality group.
