Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- three to six months related experience or training
- must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
- strong knowledge of banquet operations and event execution
- excellent communication skills
- ability to coordinate with multiple teams

- ability to adjust service quality during events
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- availability for flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or three to six months related experience or training or equivalent combination
- must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
- strong knowledge of banquet operations, service standards, and event execution
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to coordinate with kitchen staff, event coordinators, and service teams
- ability to guide and support staff including conducting pre-shift meetings
- detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- ability to evaluate service quality and make real-time adjustments
- knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
- flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- commitment to regular and reliable attendance
Job Duties
- Reviews assigned banquet staff functions and banquet menus prior to events
- conducts pre-banquet meetings to ensure appearance, hygiene standards, assign stations and review event orders
- communicates with Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or event coordinator to confirm details and changes
- ensures appropriate quantities of china, glassware, silverware, linens, and other items are available
- checks room setup and confirms food quantities and timing with Executive Chef
- ensures proper handling and storage of equipment after use
- conducts random audits during functions to evaluate food and service quality
- regularly reviews banquet schedule for changes and special events
- incorporates safe work practices
- maintains regular and reliable attendance
- performs other duties as required
