Heritage Hotels & Resorts is New Mexico's premier locally owned hospitality group, renowned for its deep respect for culture, place, and people. With an unwavering commitment to authentic storytelling, exceptional service, and community pride, Heritage Hotels & Resorts offers luxury accommodations and award-winning dining experiences that echo the rich heritage and vibrant spirit of the region. Each property in the Heritage portfolio is thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique cultural and historical influences of New Mexico, providing guests with an immersive and memorable stay. The group's dedication to quality service is matched by its caring approach toward guests, team members, and local communities, making it a standout leader in the state’s hospitality industry.
The role of Banquet Captain at Heritage Hotels & Resorts plays a pivotal part in upholding the organization’s standards of excellence. This leadership position is essential in coordinating banquet and event operations on the floor, ensuring that every detail of service runs smoothly and guests enjoy an outstanding experience. As the Banquet Captain, you will be the central figure in managing the flow of service, leading the banquet team, and maintaining clear communication between staff, management, and guests. Your responsibilities will span from conducting pre-shift briefings to monitoring event execution in real time, ensuring all service standards and timelines are met with precision.
This position demands a strong leader with keen attention to detail and a dedication to guest satisfaction. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, event planners, and internal departments in the absence of the Banquet Manager, overseeing the entire event operation to guarantee flawless execution. Additionally, this role requires proactive collaboration with suppliers to optimize efficiency and control operational costs, all while strictly adhering to food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
The Banquet Captain will also be actively involved in training and coaching team members to promote service excellence, maintaining a clean and professional work environment, and securing company assets and confidential information. This role offers a dynamic work environment where problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced, high-volume settings are essential.
Heritage Hotels & Resorts values its employees and offers a competitive compensation package along with comprehensive benefits. Employees enjoy a 25% match on 401k contributions, generous discounts across hotels, restaurants, spas, and retail outlets, complimentary meals during shifts, free parking, and opportunities for career advancement across multiple hotel locations. This people-first culture, deeply rooted in New Mexico pride and community, makes Heritage a unique and rewarding place to grow professionally and personally. If you are passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, Heritage Hotels & Resorts invites you to join its distinguished team as a Banquet Captain, where your leadership can make a meaningful impact every day.
