The role of Banquet Captain at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center offers a unique opportunity to lead and supervise the banquet service team in delivering flawless banquet functions. This full-time position involves overseeing the setup, preparation, service, and breakdown of banquet events, coordinating closely with event coordinators, conference managers, and other departments to ensure seamless execution and an unforgettable experience for guests. The Banquet Captain will be responsible for training staff, managing schedules and labor costs, conducting pre-event and pre-shift meetings, and ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed. Additionally, the position requires a proactive approach in managing banquet service standards and responding swiftly to guest requests to craft an outstanding guest experience every time. Employees in this role should be available to work varied shifts, including special high-occupancy events such as Texas A&M football games, Ring Days, and graduations, reflecting the hospitality industry's dynamic and demanding nature.

The compensation range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour plus a percentage of gratuities, with pay distributed on a biweekly basis.
