The Banquet Captain position at HVMG is a key leadership role dedicated to overseeing the flawless execution of events and banquets. This role involves coordinating teams, managing event timelines, and ensuring clients receive exceptional hospitality services from setup through breakdown. As a crucial liaison, the Banquet Captain communicates directly with clients during functions and reports to the Banquet Manager. The Banquet Captain is responsible for supervising banquet staff, orchestrating event logistics, and maintaining high standards of service throughout each event.

Job Requirements
- No educational minimum required
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required with or without reasonable accommodations

- Sufficient education and literacy to identify and read product labels

- Prior experience in a similar or related position
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a banquet captain position preferred
- Previous experience in a related hospitality or banquet role required
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Basic literacy to read product labels and communicate job-related needs
- Experience working in hotel or banquet settings is a plus
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service
Job Duties
- Lead banquet team to execute seamless events from setup to breakdown
