The Event Operations Supervisor role at Legends Global encompasses supervising, coordinating, and ensuring the flawless execution of all bartending, catering, or concessions activities throughout events. The supervisor will oversee setup, service, and closing procedures while maintaining high standards for cleanliness, organization, and compliance with venue regulations. Training and motivating team members to consistently deliver excellent service quality is a core aspect of the position, ensuring that staff are well-prepared and supported. Participation as a back-of-house team member during special events might be required, supporting food and beverage services and ensuring top-level customer experiences. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of banquet setup experience in large or high-volume venue
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift 50lbs as well as bend, stretch, push, and pull objects with support equipment
  • Able to work non-traditional shifts including extended hours and flexible schedules with early mornings, weekends, days, nights, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
  • Must be able to work well in high pressure situations and remain flexible during last minute additions or changes
  • Must possess good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel with ability to learn applicable databases and systems
  • Follow and encourage team to follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Report all safety incidents into the company’s risk management system on the same day the safety incident is reported to you

Job Duties

  • Supervise and direct the bartending, catering, or concessions staff during all event phases, ensuring accurate execution of event requirements
  • Oversee setup, service, and closing procedures for assigned areas, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and compliance with venue standards
  • Train, support, and motivate team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service
  • Organize and maintain storage areas, ensuring products, equipment, and supplies are properly rotated, secured, and inventoried
  • Complete and submit end-of-month inventory reports for liquor, beer, wine, and bar supplies, catering equipment, service ware, and food supplies, or concession food, beverage, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and responsible service regulations
  • Communicate with management, culinary, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution
  • Address guest needs and resolve service issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Set up meeting rooms, function areas, and event spaces with appropriate equipment and materials according to floor plans and management standards
  • Tear down and reset event spaces per specifications outlined on banquet event orders or event plans
  • Clean and refresh meeting and event spaces as needed, including replacing soiled linens, replenishing beverages, restocking concessions, and resetting furniture
  • Act as a liaison with operations and event services teams to ensure smooth transitions between events
  • Participate as a back-of-house team member during special events, including assisting with food and beverage delivery and concession support as needed
  • Attend and participate in weekly conversion meetings, banquet event order reviews, and pre-conference planning meetings as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
  • Ensure availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
  • Follow and encourage team adherence to all safety policies and procedures
  • Report all safety incidents into the company’s risk management system on the same day they are observed
