Heritage's commitment extends not only to its guests but also to its team members and the neighborhoods it serves, creating a welcoming environment where hospitality is delivered with intention and heart. The group's dedication to quality and meaningful impact within the hospitality industry has made it a beloved and trusted brand in the region.
Joining Heritage Hotels & Resorts means becoming part of a team that values leadership, professionalism, and a true passion for guest service. The Banquet Captain role is essential within the organization, responsible for coordinating banquet and event operations to ensure every function runs flawlessly. Tasked with leading the banquet service team, the Banquet Captain manages staffing, oversees the flow of service, and ensures all guest expectations are exceeded during events. This leadership position requires a strong focus on communication and problem solving, qualities that help maintain the high standards Heritage is known for.
The Banquet Captain acts as the on-floor leader and primary point of contact in the absence of the Banquet Manager, demonstrating the trust placed in this role. In addition to coordinating staff and supervising event execution, this position involves maintaining compliance with strict food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies. The role also emphasizes team development through training and coaching, enabling banquet team members to consistently deliver exceptional service. Given the importance of events to Heritage's reputation and guest satisfaction, the Banquet Captain is a critical driver of operational excellence and a key contributor to the memorable experiences guests enjoy.
This full-time opportunity offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including a 25% match for 401k contributions, generous employee discounts across hotels, restaurants, spas, and retail outlets, as well as complimentary meals during shifts and free parking. The professional culture is supportive and people-focused, rooted in New Mexico pride, community, and a commitment to creating a positive work environment. Those with a passion for hospitality leadership and a desire to grow their skills across multiple hotel locations will find rich opportunities for career advancement and a chance to be part of a respected and innovative hospitality group. Heritage Hotels & Resorts invites candidates who lead with heart and professionalism to join their family and make an impact through excellence in banquet and event management.
