Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a server
- Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands
- Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Able to bend, stretch, and twist

Job Duties
- Lead, supervise and participate in banquet set-up including moving and setting tables and chairs, buffet set-up, bar set-up, preparation of condiments, labeling of stations, anticipating beverage needs
- Assist Banquet Manager with administrative and personnel tasks such as scheduling, time clock reviews, overtime management, performance evaluations, discipline, investigations, training and development
- Read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and follow instructions from Banquet Manager
- Facilitate and lead departmental meetings including pre-meal and post-meal briefings
- Serve as the point of contact for each banquet event and possess a deep understanding of the event details
- Establish the Order of Service and ensure adherence to service standards and event timing as directed by the Banquet Manager and Conference Center Family Traditions
- Assign service stations to banquet servers ensuring balanced team assignments
- Ensure completion of all side-work and preparation needed for future events before leaving
- Supervise and inspect cleanup after functions including cleaning floors, dishes, equipment, and proper storage of supplies
