In addition to beverage preparation and service, the position involves assisting with event setup and breakdown, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in service areas, and supporting the broader service team as needed. The candidate must comply with all Serve-Safe regulations and alcohol service laws, observing proper etiquette and responding promptly to any guest concerns by notifying management. The role requires someone who can lift and move weighted items, perform physical tasks like bending and stooping, and who holds or can obtain the necessary certifications related to alcohol service.

Job Duties
- Mix ingredients such as liquor soda water sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks for guests and the service bar using proper measuring techniques
- Serve wine and other draught or bottled beer
- Collect money for drinks and food served
- Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
- Replenish supply of clean linens silverware glassware and dishes in bar area
- Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints
- Use proper etiquette guidelines with guests
- Practice and observe all serve-safe rules and procedures
- Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested
- Assist in clearing pre-event areas and common areas of glasses and debris including basic cleaning
- Prepare all dressings and cold sauces
- Ensure quality guest service and comfort at all times by monitoring the area continuously
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items specials beverages wines etc
- Serve all items utilizing appropriate china glassware silverware garnish and condiments
- Assist servers and set up housepersons if needed
- Immediately relay all guest complaints and compliments to management
- Maintain health and sanitation standards
- Maintain safe serve regulations when serving alcoholic beverages
- Assist in setting tables with linen and basic silver and glass maintaining high standard of presentation
- Assist in breaking down events and cleaning rooms after functions
