Job Description

Delaware North is a global hospitality and food service company with a rich history spanning over 100 years, dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for guests in iconic locations. Operating a diverse portfolio that includes sports venues, national parks, casinos, hotels, and restaurants, Delaware North takes pride in delivering high-quality service and a dynamic work environment. Established as a family-owned business, it emphasizes strong company values, inclusivity, and opportunities for growth, supporting team members' personal and professional development through training and advancement paths.

At Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia, Delaware North Sportservice operates the concessions, premium dining, and restaurant services, serving fans and guests at the 41,500-seat home of Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves since its opening in 2016. The venue combines state-of-the-art amenities with an unparalleled fan experience, and as a major employer within the sporting and hospitality industry, Delaware North offers unique and exciting career opportunities in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting.

The seasonal Banquet Bartender role at Truist Park is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy energetic work environments and engaging with guests to enhance their event experiences. This position is primarily responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at events, ensuring guests receive prompt, courteous service while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Bartenders work in mobile bar settings, handling the setup and breakdown of portable bars, organizing wine and champagne service for meals, and managing bar supplies effectively. As a tipped position, compensation includes a base hourly wage with additional earnings potential through tips.

Candidates for this role should be prepared for a physically active job involving extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting supplies up to 50 pounds occasionally. They must maintain accuracy in billing and cash handling, operate point-of-sale systems with ease, and be knowledgeable about drink recipes and beverage options available during events. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days, providing a dynamic schedule ideal for those seeking flexible part-time work tied to the sports and entertainment calendar.

Delaware North prioritizes employee well-being and professional growth, offering benefits such as weekly pay, employee discounts, flexible schedules, and access to a comprehensive benefits package for eligible team members. This includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plans with company matches, paid vacation and holidays, parental leave, employee assistance programs, and educational reimbursement. Working with Delaware North means joining a supportive team that values diversity, equal opportunity, and the shared goal of delivering memorable experiences to guests. This position offers a path to develop hospitality skills, engage with diverse clientele, and be part of a globally recognized company committed to excellence in service and career growth.
