Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months of high volume bartending experience required
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a City of Milwaukee bartender's license within 90 days
  • Ability to successfully achieve Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications within 90 days
  • Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to interact with guests and team members professionally
  • Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions and diagrams
  • Regularly required to talk, walk, hear, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, sit, and move freely for entire shift
  • Frequently required to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms
  • Must be able to operate a personal computer or point-of-sale system
  • Required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally with assistance
  • Must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment while performing duties
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months of high volume bartending experience required

Job Duties

  • Mix and pour drinks per recipe cards using accurate measures and proper glassware
  • Complete drink orders for guest and server needs
  • Greet guests promptly with a friendly expression
  • Assess, anticipate, and attend to guest needs or concerns in a courteous manner
  • Operate and clean all bar equipment including beverage dispensing systems and beer taps
  • Push mobile bars into place and return to storage after events
  • Understand and implement Banquet Event Orders to ensure bar setup and service
  • Attend pre-shift meetings to coordinate timing and service needs
  • Use point-of-sale system to accurately enter orders and process transactions
  • Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction, adapt to changes, and resolve problems positively
  • Monitor and ensure responsible alcohol service
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and safe work environment
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menu and beverage selections
  • Provide information about casino and hotel offerings, promotions, and events
  • Communicate professionally with team, leadership, other departments, vendors, and guests
  • Work at other venues as assigned based on business needs
  • Perform duties in compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
