Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bartending or related field preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to check identification for alcohol service
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Must have the physical ability to perform duties including standing for long periods
- Must maintain professional appearance including wearing uniform name tag and state badge
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must possess basic math skills for cash handling and inventory
- Ability to work under pressure and handle customer complaints calmly and professionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage recipes
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Knowledge of alcohol laws and responsible service practices
Job Duties
- Report to work at the assigned time in uniform with name tag state badge and POS card
- Read bulletin board daily to stay current on information regarding the day’s business
- Perform daily opening and closing inventory of beverage products
- Welcome guests upon arrival in a polite and professional manner
- Check guest IDs properly for serving alcoholic beverages
- Prepare and garnish beverages according to standard recipes
- Have full knowledge of the event beverage menu selection
- Suggestively sell beverages at all times
- Document all orders on POS computer and place guest check in front of all guests
- Maintain a clean working station
- Ensure all equipment is clean and functional
- Take beverage orders calmly and professionally
- Handle complaints calmly and effectively
- Restock location with cases of beer beverage and food products
- Clean assigned work area and complete all side work
- Ring in all beverage items and close all types of checks properly
- Relay problem situations to manager or supervisor for immediate action
- Be responsible for cash bank counting reports and reporting tips
- Sign and cash paychecks indicating agreement with hours and reported tips
- Be a team player and uphold team concepts
- Attend all beverage meetings
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervision
