The White Pines Golf Club is a prestigious 36-hole golf club known for its exceptional facilities and stunning setting. The club serves golf enthusiasts and hosts various events, including weddings and banquets, making it a popular destination throughout the busy wedding and golf seasons. We are seeking an experienced Part-Time, Seasonal Banquet Bartender to join our team during the bustling wedding and golf season. This role is integral in delivering outstanding service to our guests by staffing the banquet room and outdoor tent areas. The successful candidate will bring not only bartending skills but also a vibrant personality and a professional attitude that enhances the guest experience. This position is part-time, offering between 10 to 35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, with pay at $15.00 per hour. It provides a seasonal opportunity to be part of a dynamic team where customer service and attention to detail are paramount.

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for setting up and breaking down portable bars and banquet service areas, ensuring all beverages and food products are handled properly according to health and safety standards. Candidates must be proficient in cash and credit card transactions, familiar with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, and comfortable using tablets and other technology. Previous experience with golf POS systems is a plus. This position requires punctuality, a neat appearance, and the ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

In addition to bartending duties, this role involves performing side work and other responsibilities related to banquet operations as assigned by supervisors. The position demands a minimum age of 21 and prefers candidates with 1-2 years of banquet bartending experience. Candidates must have or be willing to obtain BASSET and Serv Safe Food Handlers certifications within 30 days of hire. Physical stamina is important, as the role includes standing, sitting, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • Well-groomed appearance
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • BASSET certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Serv Safe Food Handlers certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Available for at least 1-5 shifts weekly
  • Able to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, and bend for up to 5 hours at a time
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently and 20 lbs constantly
