Job Requirements

  • Ability to work varied hours including weekends
  • Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • Ability to operate bar tools and equipment safely
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken form
  • Capability to work in crowded and noisy environments
  • Physical stamina to tolerate frequent exposure to liquids

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in catering sales or hospitality preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation and bar operations
  • Proficiency in POS systems and related equipment
  • Completed alcohol awareness training

Job Duties

  • Assist in acquiring, maintaining and servicing catering customers
  • Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and contracts
  • Stock and restock bar areas with alcohol, glassware, ice and supplies
  • Service a full bar top and cocktail station effectively
  • Safely transport food or beverages to tables
  • Handle incoming catering calls and emails, responding or distributing appropriately
  • Maintain security and reconciliation of bar cash drawer and inventory
