Job Requirements
- Ability to work varied hours including weekends
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
- Ability to operate bar tools and equipment safely
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken form
- Capability to work in crowded and noisy environments
- Physical stamina to tolerate frequent exposure to liquids
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in catering sales or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and bar operations
- Proficiency in POS systems and related equipment
- Completed alcohol awareness training
Job Duties
- Assist in acquiring, maintaining and servicing catering customers
- Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and contracts
- Stock and restock bar areas with alcohol, glassware, ice and supplies
- Service a full bar top and cocktail station effectively
- Safely transport food or beverages to tables
- Handle incoming catering calls and emails, responding or distributing appropriately
- Maintain security and reconciliation of bar cash drawer and inventory
