A Guest Event Expert at The Westin Savannah Harbor is entrusted with a variety of responsibilities, including setting up and breaking down event materials, transporting supplies efficiently, managing orders, and interacting professionally and warmly with guests. These professionals play a vital role in ensuring that every transaction and interaction during events feels like a natural and pleasant part of the guest’s overall experience.

In this role, individuals are expected to maintain high standards of workplace safety while adhering strictly to company policies and procedures. Moreover, maintaining professionalism is paramount — this includes upholding quality standards, presenting a polished uniform and personal appearance, and communicating effectively with team members and guests. The physical demands of the position require the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. The ideal candidate for this role has a high school diploma or GED and less than one year of related experience.
