Atlas Restaurant Group is a prominent hospitality company known for its diverse portfolio of dining establishments across Baltimore and beyond. Renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and commitment to exceptional guest experiences, Atlas strives to create memorable moments through diverse culinary offerings and attentive service in a welcoming environment. The company stands out as one of the fastest growing restaurant groups in the region, actively engaging with the community and offering employees opportunities for career advancement and personal development. Atlas Restaurant Group values teamwork, integrity, and innovation, reflected in its inclusive workplace culture and dedication to its employees and customers alike.
The Banquet Bartender role at Atlas Restaurant Group is a dynamic and customer-focused position that plays a crucial role in delivering quality service during banquet events. This position involves greeting guests, understanding their preferences, and preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The Banquet Bartender not only facilitates an enjoyable dining and social environment but also contributes to the overall success of events by upselling menu items and beverages, ensuring guests receive attentive and personalized service. No supervisory responsibilities are tied to the role, allowing the individual to concentrate fully on guest interaction and beverage preparation.
Candidates will need to master a variety of bar-related tasks, such as mixing cocktails, restocking supplies, and handling transactions accurately while maintaining cleanliness and adherence to sanitation standards. The role demands efficiency under pressure, excellent organizational skills, and strong interpersonal abilities to foster positive guest experiences consistently. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential to meet the operational demands of banquet events. Furthermore, familiarity with point-of-sale systems like Toast POS and Restaurant365 enhances the ability to manage sales efficiently.
Compensation for this position ranges from $5.00 to $5.50 per hour plus tips, providing an opportunity for bartenders to earn competitive pay based on their skills and customer service output. Full-time employees working 30 or more hours are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) contribution plan, life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance fully covered by the company, professional learning and development programs, advancement opportunities within the group, pet insurance, and a 25% employee discount at Atlas properties. Part-time employees also have access to several of these benefits, excluding the health, dental, and vision coverage.
Working at Atlas Restaurant Group means being part of a team that values accountability, emotional intelligence, and engagement. Employees are encouraged to collaborate, give and receive constructive feedback, and maintain professionalism even in high-pressure situations. The company supports its staff with ongoing opportunities for skill development and career mobility, underscoring a commitment to sustaining a motivated and skilled workforce. For those passionate about hospitality and eager to advance within an expanding and supportive company, the Banquet Bartender position presents an exciting and rewarding pathway.
