Job Requirements

  • valid form of identification
  • minimum age to serve alcohol of 18
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • ability to calculate discounts and tips
  • ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • good physical mobility, able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to remain calm under stress

  • may require food handler’s certification depending on local regulations

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 previous experience as a bartender
  • banquet experience is a plus
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • basic knowledge of English
  • ability to read, understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • knowledge of government policies and regulations
  • ability to learn and utilize Toast POS and Restaurant365 systems
  • excellent customer service skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant guests
  • interact with guests, take orders and serve food and drinks
  • assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • mix ingredients to prepare cocktails, classic and specialties
  • check guests’ identification and confirm legal drinking age
  • restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • perform daily and weekly cleaning duties
  • handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and balancing the cash register
  • stay guest focused and sustain an excellent guest experience
