The Banquet Bartender position at one of Lessing's premier catering venues is a vital role centered on providing outstanding beverage service during events. This role requires a dedicated professional who enjoys interacting with guests and maintaining a high standard of bar service. The Banquet Bartender is responsible for preparing a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including expertly mixed cocktails tailored to guests' preferences. The role demands excellent communication skills, a friendly attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with all food and beverage regulations. This position is hourly with a pay rate starting at $11.00 per hour plus tips, with an assurance that the total earnings will not fall below minimum wage. Job Requirements

  • Prior bartending experience
  • Knowledge of drink mixing and garnishing

  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Prior working experience as a bartender
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
  • Relevant training certificate preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and event patrons
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
  • Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
