The role of Catering Supervisor at Aramark offers a full-time position within its passionate Food Services Team. This vital role involves supporting the Catering Manager by overseeing catering staff and collaborating with team members to ensure seamless catering event execution. The Catering Supervisor is responsible for a wide range of duties, including administrative support such as ordering, data entry, filing, and maintaining professional and courteous interactions with guests, visitors, and employees. Responsibilities vary depending on client requirements and business needs at specific Aramark locations, meaning the role offers variety and opportunity to adapt and grow.

The Catering Supervisor is integral in managing the Conference Center's scheduling system to efficiently handle catering event logistics while acting as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and accommodating special requests professionally throughout the event planning process. They collaborate closely with the Conference Center team to align catering operations with facility schedules, event setups, and client expectations. Working in partnership with Conference Center leadership, the Catering Supervisor attends pre- and post-event meetings to promote flawless event execution and service improvement. Food safety and sanitation standards are paramount in this role, ensuring that all health regulations and internal policies are rigorously followed.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with inventory management, training and mentoring catering service workers, and operating equipment and technology systems such as voicemail, scanners, computers, and Microsoft Office applications. The Catering Supervisor may also be called upon to perform other duties as assigned, which could include attending meetings, delivering food products, or providing support on the service line. Job Requirements

  • Education level not specified
  • Prior catering experience preferred
  • Serve Safe certification required within six months
  • Experience with administrative tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer literacy

Job Qualifications

  • Catering experience strongly preferred
  • Administrative experience is strongly preferred
  • Must be Serve Safe Certified within 6 months of employment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Strong digital literacy including Microsoft Office, internet, typing, and other database or spreadsheet software

Job Duties
