Job Description

ABM is a leading global provider of integrated facility management, engineering, and infrastructure solutions, offering innovative and sustainable services to a wide range of sectors including sports and entertainment. With an annual revenue exceeding $8 billion and a workforce of over 100,000 employees, ABM is dedicated to creating smarter and more connected spaces that improve occupant experiences and empower clients. The company is recognized for its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunity, providing ample opportunities for career growth and development, especially for veterans and individuals seeking to transition into civilian careers. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employee well-being and professional success.

The Post Event Manager position within ABM's Sports & Entertainment Vertical Market is a critical overnight role responsible for overseeing events and post-event activities, including work on weekends and holidays. The role demands a highly organized and proactive individual with a passion for service excellence and operational leadership. The Post Event Manager ensures the successful execution of projects by leading a diverse team, maintaining strong client relationships, and aligning service delivery with contractual and financial objectives. This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 annually, with potential incentive or bonus programs based on individual and company performance.

In this role, the manager will be entrusted with the operational and financial success of assigned projects, focusing on maximizing profitability and meeting budgetary targets. Key responsibilities include assessing contract requirements, developing and executing work plans, and ensuring compliance with labor agreements. The manager is expected to maintain consistent communication with clients, conduct site inspections, address service modifications, and promote additional ABM services to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and possess technical proficiency with MS Office, smartphones, and other relevant job applications. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and respond to urgent client needs outside regular hours is essential. Prior management or supervisory experience in the sports or entertainment sectors, combined with solid accounting and business acumen, will be highly valued.

Further, the Post Event Manager will play a pivotal role in employee relations by collaborating with frontline personnel to fulfill customer requirements, identifying training needs, and supporting the hiring, training, and evaluation processes. A deep understanding of union contracts and the ability to foster strong working relationships with labor unions are important aspects of the position. The manager will also contribute to sales and marketing efforts by acting as the primary ABM representative to customers, promoting billable services, and driving revenue growth through additional service offerings.

Financial responsibilities include inventory control to keep labor and supplies within budget and accurate reporting of accidents and property damage. The manager will operate with a high degree of independence, planning activities to meet strategic objectives while continuously informing leadership of operational status and escalating critical issues promptly.

ABM's culture emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and a customer-first approach, making it an excellent place for professionals committed to delivering outstanding service and driving operational excellence in the fast-paced sports and entertainment environment. This position is ideal for candidates seeking a challenging yet rewarding career path with a company that values employee contributions and invests in their future.
