Job Requirements
- Attainment of a high school diploma or a GED credential
- Less than twelve months of related experience in baking, pastry work, or kitchen settings
- Ability to stand, stroll, or stay seated for an extended time
- Ability to transport, heave, press, or tug items that weigh less than 25 lbs without needing help
- Ability to extend arms above and below shoulder level
- ability to bend, twist, pull, and stoop
- Capacity to carry out duties on slick or bumpy terrains like staircases or slopes

Job Duties
- Adhere to set recipes and presentation standards when making and baking pastries, bread, desserts, and various baked goods
- Scale, combine, allocate, and arrange the necessary ingredients for the daily baking tasks
- Properly handle and manage baking equipment and instruments to ensure safety
- Oversee the operation of ovens and kitchen devices to guarantee the correct cooking timings and temperatures
- Comply with regulations concerning food safety and sanitation protocols, such as appropriate food storage, maintaining personal cleanliness, and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area
- Follow kitchen guidelines for setting up and dismantling workstations
- Guarantee consistent food quality and standards with each batch prepared throughout the working period
- Ensure the bakery/kitchen area is consistently clean, safe, and properly organized to promote a healthy workspace
- Interact in a professional manner with colleagues and visitors when necessary
- Assist co-workers and play a part in creating a supportive team culture
- Fulfill any additional assignments and tasks as delegated by supervisors
