Job Requirements
- food safety certification(s)
- prior experience in baking or related field
- ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- proficiency in using baking machinery and utensils
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- adherence to food handling, hygiene, and safety standards
- compliance with workplace uniform and PPE policies
Job Qualifications
- prior experience in baking or related field preferred
- established proficiency in baking methodologies and health and safety protocols
- essential food safety certification(s)
- competency in basic arithmetic and numerical calculations
- strong interpersonal and communication skills in written and oral forms
- capability to manage physical activities including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking
- willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Job Duties
- create a selection of baked treats by adhering to production standards and following prescribed recipes
- organize workstation with all required baking equipment and ingredients
- measure, weigh, combine, chop, and prepare ingredients
- operate baking machinery including ovens, stovetops, and mixers
- use utensils carefully and responsibly during meal preparation
- maintain proper storage of food according to safety regulations
- sanitize work areas, equipment, and tools after use
- deliver outstanding customer service with a pleasant demeanor
- comply with safety policies including food handling and hygiene practices
- protect corporate assets by following security measures
