Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods
  • Willingness to adhere to company uniform policies and properly wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a baker or in a related food service field is highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of baking techniques, industry standards, and health and safety guidelines
  • Must currently hold or be willing to obtain mandatory food safety certifications
  • Proficiency in basic math and accurate counting skills is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Duties

  • Produce a range of baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Organize your baking station by gathering all the essential equipment and ingredients
  • Put together the components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and carrying out other necessary preparations
  • Handle baking apparatus like ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • Employ caution and care when utilizing utensils like knives for cooking purposes
  • Ensure that food is stored correctly by following established policies and procedures
  • After utilizing work areas, equipment, and tools, make sure to sanitize them to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Uphold exceptional customer service standards and maintain a positive attitude when interacting with guests, customers, clients, colleagues, and others
  • Comply with Aramark's safety policies, which involve observing appropriate food handling and hygiene practices
  • Secure company property by strictly observing designated security protocols
