Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in baking or culinary arts preferred
- Food safety certification mandatory
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compliance with uniform and PPE requirements
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a baker or in a similar position
- Established proficiency in baking methodologies, criteria, and health and safety protocols
- Mandatory food safety certification
- Solid foundation in math and counting principles
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking
- Willingness to wear uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
Job Duties
- Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
- Organize baking station by gathering all essential equipment and ingredients
- Prepare ingredients through measuring, weighing, blending, dicing, and other relevant procedures
- Use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Take precautions to use utensils, like knives, safely and effectively during meal preparation
- Implement proper storage practices as outlined in food safety policies
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Emphasize excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor when interacting with guests, customers, clients, colleagues, and others
- Follow Aramark's safety protocols, especially those focusing on effective food safety and sanitation practices
- Follow prescribed security protocols to guarantee the protection of company resources
