We are currently seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Baking and Pastry Chefs to join our academic team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for culinary professionals passionate about educating students eager to learn the arts of baking and pastry. As an instructor at Remington College, you will have the opportunity to impart your talents and skills, helping shape the next generation of culinary experts. The Baking and Pastry Chef instructor will engage students by providing instruction and evaluation in their area of specialty, ensuring that they not only understand the fundamental techniques but also appreciate the creativity and precision involved in baking and pastry arts. Keeping up to date with the latest culinary trends and educational technology is critical to this role to foster a modern and dynamic classroom experience. Timely tracking of student attendance and assignment feedback is essential to monitor student progress and provide support where needed.

In addition to instructional duties, the instructor will actively participate in faculty and staff meetings, contribute to in-service training sessions, and partake in graduation ceremonies as part of the wider academic community. Job Requirements

  • an associate degree or higher in culinary arts or a related discipline
  • at least four years of experience in culinary arts including chef, prep work, or kitchen management
  • ability to instruct and evaluate students
  • familiarity with classroom technology
  • commitment to adhere to school policies
  • availability to participate in meetings and graduation
  • excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications
