Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
  • prior work experience preferred but not required in food service such as restaurant or deli
  • ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • adaptable to different situations and shifting priorities
  • ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions
  • ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • ability to move, lift and carry merchandise up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • frequent reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, crouching, twisting
  • ability to stand and/or walk continuously during shifts
  • visual acuity to verify information often in small print
  • may be exposed to all weather conditions as well as inside variations in heat, cold, dust and humidity
  • may be exposed to cleaning solvents or chemicals
  • may be exposed to allergens such as latex, eggs, nuts, soy and wheat
  • employment contingent on successful completion of PEP survey, drug screen, reference check and background check

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • support food service department operations including readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, financial goals, cleanliness, and equipment safety
  • support replenishment and inventory processes including ordering, receiving, invoicing, back stock management, reclamation, returns, damages, and reworks
  • adhere to proper equipment cleaning and maintenance procedures
  • follow company and food safety guidelines for food production and processing, ensuring products are properly packaged, weighed, priced and labeled
  • maintain food service department cleaning standards using approved equipment and cleaning chemicals
  • use critical thinking to define and solve problems effectively
  • consistently produce high quality products and adhere to safety procedures
