Job Requirements

must be at least 18 years of age
high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
prior work experience preferred but not required in food service such as restaurant or deli
ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
adaptable to different situations and shifting priorities
ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions
ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
ability to move, lift and carry merchandise up to 50 pounds without assistance
frequent reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, crouching, twisting
ability to stand and/or walk continuously during shifts
visual acuity to verify information often in small print
may be exposed to all weather conditions as well as inside variations in heat, cold, dust and humidity
may be exposed to cleaning solvents or chemicals
may be exposed to allergens such as latex, eggs, nuts, soy and wheat
employment contingent on successful completion of PEP survey, drug screen, reference check and background check

Job Qualifications

prior experience in food service preferred
ability to master menu recipes

Job Duties

support food service department operations including readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, financial goals, cleanliness, and equipment safety
support replenishment and inventory processes including ordering, receiving, invoicing, back stock management, reclamation, returns, damages, and reworks
adhere to proper equipment cleaning and maintenance procedures
follow company and food safety guidelines for food production and processing, ensuring products are properly packaged, weighed, priced and labeled
maintain food service department cleaning standards using approved equipment and cleaning chemicals
use critical thinking to define and solve problems effectively
consistently produce high quality products and adhere to safety procedures
