- Ability to inform and assist customers regarding products
- Ability to follow directions and work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous bakery or deli experience is helpful but not required
Job Duties
- Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment
- Offer product samples to help customers discover new products
- Inform customers of bakery and deli specials
- Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
- Recommend deli or bakery items to customers to meet their needs
- Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
