Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively with associates and customers
Ability to read, count, and write to complete documentation accurately
Ability to access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area, and register area
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the department
Ability to climb ladders
Ability to sit or stand for long periods
Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and stoop occasionally
Good finger dexterity and feeling
Ability to perform frequent repetitive motions
Ability to talk, hear, and have visual acuity
Ability to move or transfer merchandise weighing 0-75 pounds
Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to stand or sit for long periods
Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 75 pounds
Basic math and reading skills
Knowledge of merchandising and product presentation preferred

Job Duties

Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer-friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of customer service
Ensure sales floor product is of highest quality and freshness
Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise, and advertisements
Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping
Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise
participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock
ensures re-wraps are done promptly
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention policies
Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
