BAKERY/CAKE DECORATOR

We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Bakery Associate to join our team. In this part-time or full-time role, you will assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals by maintaining quality assurance standards and delivering excellent customer service. You will play a critical role in creating an environment where customers feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated. Your responsibilities will include preparing and decorating bakery items such as cakes, pastries, cupcakes, and cookies, as well as handling product samples and helping customers explore new products. You will use proper bakery equipment and adhere to all health, safety, and store policies to ensure that every product meets the highest quality and safety standards.

In this role, you will also gain and maintain extensive knowledge of the bakery products, enabling you to answer customer questions and provide personalized recommendations. You will be responsible for inventory management tasks, including labeling, stocking, signing, and monitoring product freshness and sell-by dates. Additionally, you will assist in identifying any safety risks or equipment issues, reporting discrepancies, and contributing to loss prevention efforts. This position requires the ability to work efficiently under pressure, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanor that fosters customer loyalty and satisfaction.
