Job Duties
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals
- monitor all established quality assurance standards
- prepare bakery items including wedding cakes according to customer requests
- check product quality to ensure freshness and review sell-by dates
- decorate cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies and other bakery items
- label, stock, sign, and inventory department merchandise
- report product ordering and shipping discrepancies to the department manager
- maintain awareness of inventory and stock conditions and note discrepancies

- ensure compliance with merchandising, labor control, loss prevention, maintenance and safety procedures
- reinforce safety programs by identifying unsafe conditions and notifying management
