The role offered is an exciting opportunity to join King Soopers as a Bakery and Customer Service Team Member. This position is instrumental in creating outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service and product knowledge within the bakery department. In this role, you will assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals by maintaining high-quality assurance standards and ensuring that all bakery items meet the freshness and quality expectations of customers. Part of your responsibilities will include preparing bakery items such as wedding cakes according to customer specifications using proper bakery equipment, decorating a wide range of baked goods, and providing product samples to encourage customer discovery.

This position also emphasizes teamwork and communication. You will be expected to maintain an understanding of the store layout to help customers locate products, stay updated with sales and seasonal promotions, and consistently adhere to all health and safety regulations. By managing department inventory, reporting discrepancies, and reinforcing safety programs, you will help maintain a secure, efficient operation.
