The role offered is a Bakery Associate position that involves creating an outstanding customer experience through superior service and product knowledge. The bakery associate is responsible for upholding the Customer 1st strategy to deliver excellent customer service firsthand and encourage fellow associates to do the same. The position requires effective communication and the ability to handle stressful situations, as well as following strict food safety protocols and maintaining equipment. Employees in this position will engage with customers by answering questions, offering product samples, informing customers of specials, and making product recommendations. This role also includes operational duties such as measuring and mixing ingredients, preparing bakery items to customer specifications, packaging, labeling, inventory control, and maintaining temperature logs for food safety compliance.
