This role centers around creating outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service in the bakery department. The successful candidate will establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return, embody the core company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. The position supports the department manager in meeting sales and profit goals, monitoring quality assurance, and promoting a customer-first strategy. Responsibilities include preparing bakery items according to customer requests, using proper bakery equipment, offering product samples, and informing customers about specials. The role also demands maintaining freshness and portion control to minimize waste, recommending items to help customers meet their needs, and using all bakery equipment following company guidelines.
