Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous bakery or food service experience preferred
  • ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and standing for long periods
  • willingness to obtain necessary food safety certifications
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • commitment to following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • adherence to company uniform and personal protective equipment policies

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a baker or related food service role preferred
  • strong knowledge of baking methods and industry standards
  • familiarity with food safety regulations
  • must possess or be willing to obtain food safety certifications
  • basic math and accurate counting skills
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing
  • willingness to comply with uniform policies and wear personal protective equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepare a diverse array of baked goods following production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • set up work area with required tools and ingredients
  • assemble ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, and chopping
  • handle baking apparatus such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • follow safety measures when using kitchen tools including knives
  • comply with food safety regulations for proper food storage
  • clean and sanitize workspaces, tools, and utensils after tasks
  • ensure excellent customer service and maintain friendly demeanor
  • uphold Aramark safety policies and food sanitation procedures
  • follow prescribed security protocols
