Job Requirements

  • No prior retail experience required
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Able to stand and walk for 6 to 8 hours in an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions
  • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • May require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Weighs, prices, and packages customer orders
  • Understands venue menus, stays abreast of specials and menu changes
  • Follows cash handling procedures related to service venues
  • Monitors product quality and freshness and ensures proper product rotation
  • Completes product spoilage and transfer records
  • Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
  • Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs timely and effectively, and practices suggestive selling
  • Answers phones and pages promptly and courteously
  • Maximizes sales potential through effective prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising
  • Follows and ensures compliance with Weights and Measures, health, sanitation, and safe work practices
  • Maintains clean and sanitary working and shopping environments and equipment
  • Performs opening, mid, and closing duties
  • Reports safety hazards and violations immediately
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership
