They are responsible for monitoring product quality and freshness, managing product rotation, and completing necessary spoilage and transfer documentation. Punctuality, appropriate grooming, and readiness for scheduled shifts are important. Team Members provide excellent customer service, answer inquiries promptly and courteously, and use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales potential. Additional responsibilities include proper storing, rotation, stocking, merchandise display, and adherence to weight and measures, health, sanitation, and safe work practice regulations. Cleanliness and maintenance of the work and shopping environment in accordance with company standards are also key aspects. The position involves completing assigned opening, mid, and closing duties while ensuring accuracy in signage and pricing. Team Members must report any safety hazards immediately and perform other tasks as assigned by leadership at various levels.

The role demands physical capabilities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for 6-8 hours per shift, and performing motions like bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Employees will be exposed to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and temperature variations, and must be comfortable working in wet and dry conditions. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required, along with the ability to operate various tools and machinery including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and ladders, is essential. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Weighs, prices, and packages customer orders
  • Understands venue menus and stays abreast of specials and menu changes
  • Follows cash handling procedures related to service venues
  • Monitors product quality and freshness and ensures proper product rotation
  • Completes product spoilage and transfer records as needed
  • Provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs promptly
  • Maximizes sales potential through effective prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of products
  • Follows and ensures compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
  • Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures accuracy of signs and pricing
  • Reports safety hazards immediately
