The position available is for a Bakery Team Member, a pivotal role within the bakery department that supports all aspects of product handling, merchandising, and customer service. This role involves receiving and preparing bakery products, organizing and maintaining displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring compliance with Whole Foods Market’s high standards of food quality and safety. As a Bakery Team Member, you will represent the company’s commitment to excellence by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members alike. Responsibilities include breaking down deliveries, monitoring product freshness, maintaining back stock, assisting with inventory checks, and supporting promotional sampling activities. You will play an active part in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the bakery area, as well as contributing to sales growth through suggestive selling and effective product presentation. The position is hourly, with a wage range of $16.00 to $25.40, depending on experience, and includes eligibility for Whole Benefits which encompass store discounts, paid time off, health and wellness support, financial wellness programs, and other team member perks.
