Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- ability to stand or walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift
- hand use including grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- capability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- ability to work in temperature ranges from freezing to high heat
- willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks and ladders
- no prior retail experience required

Job Duties
- Ensure fresh and appealing bakery displays by cleaning and stocking cases and shelves
- stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas
- monitor and prevent product spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and supervisors
- maintain back stock in good order
- assist with sampling programs and keep sample areas stocked and clean
- help with periodic inventory checks
- arrive on time, groomed, dressed, and ready to work all scheduled shifts
- provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly
- use suggestive selling techniques and answer phones courteously
- maximize sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
- follow and ensure compliance with procedures including health and sanitation standards
- maintain clean and sanitary work and shopping environment
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties and ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
- report safety hazards and violations immediately
- perform other duties as assigned by store or leadership
