We are currently looking for a full-time Bakery Production Team Member to join our energetic and hardworking team. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about the bakery industry and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, quality-driven kitchen environment. The position offers a competitive starting wage of $18 per hour plus tips, with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm. This role includes hands-on participation in the entire production process, including the group lamination of croissant, brioche, and danish doughs, as well as shaping, rolling, and piping pastries.
As a Bakery Production Team Member, you will be actively involved in producing a broad range of bakery products while assisting at the customer counter and assembling sandwiches to order. The job requires familiarity with kitchen equipment, including the safe and knowledgeable use of a meat slicer, and the ability to scale recipes and pastry components accurately. You will also be responsible for savory station prep, ensuring ingredient quality control, and communicating effectively with other production staff to keep operations running smoothly.
This role demands high punctuality and consistent attendance as well as adherence to company policies to maintain quality standards and operational efficiency. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, performance, and role held. Full-time employees are eligible for health care benefits after three months, and paid time off (PTO) begins to accrue after one year of employment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in a professional kitchen
- Valid Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Proven punctuality and reliable attendance
- Ability to use kitchen equipment safely
- Basic math competency
