Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift
- ability to perform hand use tasks such as single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- capability to perform motions including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- able to work in wet and dry conditions
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in varying temperature conditions including freezing and refrigeration
- ability to use knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- may require ladder use
- must adhere to health and safety regulations

Job Duties
- Receive and prepare bakery products
- maintain bakery area and displays
- sell bakery products in accordance with Whole Foods Market standards
- break down deliveries and stock shelves
- ensure fresh and appealing displays by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products
- assist with sampling programs by keeping sample areas full and clean
- perform periodic inventory checks
- provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling
- maintain back stock in good order
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties
- comply with health, sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintain equipment and cleanliness
- report safety hazards immediately
