We are currently looking for dedicated and motivated Management Trainees for the Bakery Supervisor position. This is a full-time role based in Corona, CA, at 430 N. McKinley St., and it offers an excellent opportunity for those interested in a career in retail management and supermarket operations. The position requires a commitment to training and development, with a structured 6 to 8-month training program during which trainees will be evaluated and prepared for direct assignment to a store bakery department. Trainees will learn to manage department operations aligning with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), develop product knowledge, handle planning and ordering, organize products effectively, manage employee schedules and attendance, and perform supervisory duties essential to maintain high standards.
The Bakery Supervisor role demands a high level of responsibility, including managing daily departmental operations, ensuring product freshness and full shelves, collaborating with store management on promotional plans, and meeting sales targets. This position also involves practical tasks such as receiving shipments, controlling inventory with FIFO methods, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Successful candidates are expected to work cohesively within the store team, effectively use inventory and price labeling software, and provide leadership through coaching, training, and employee performance reviews.
This role requires flexibility in working hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays, and may involve travel between different store locations for training purposes. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills to navigate sensitive situations and confidential documentation, as well as strong analytical abilities related to inventory and sales data. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, inventory management systems, IT retail platforms, or SAP is highly preferred. Job Duties
- undergo training and evaluations for 6 to 8 months
- manage department daily operations and meet company standards

- receive and inspect poultry shipments for quantity and quality
